BCEF:
Cancer knows no boundaries. Imagine being at the lowest point in your life, no job, no money and no where to turn, then being diagnosed with cancer. What would you do, who would you turn to, your children? Since April 2001, BCEF has helped more than 1200 low-income women undergoing breast cancer treatment pay their rent, utilities, medical and dental bills when they were too sick to work. This year alone, grants will be made on behalf of more than 300 women in San Francisco and San Mateo counties facing the financial hardship of a breast cancer diagnosis. By operating with very low overhead, and sharing administrative costs with AIDS Emergency Fund, BCEF has been able to use more than 90 cents of every dollar
raised for client grants. We are proud to also announce that a very large portion of the proceeds of certain handbags bags listed for sale on the First Class Consignment website will directly benefit the Breast Cancer Emergency Fund.
Now is your chance to get a great new authentic designer handbag, at a great price for an even greater cause.
